Flowers in the fading light

The boy treated me to a flowers last week to cheer me up as I've not been very well of late. I much prefer the cheap single type bunches to the expensive showy ones (although I never say no to flowers!) and these have been brightening up the dining table nicely. They are starting to fade themselves now but they looked so gorgeous in the last of the evening sun streaming through the door that I couldn't resist taking (quite) a few shots.
